Ocala's City Park is a favorite place to relax.

Inspired by an unusually brilliant sky just before sunrise, viewed from our back yard May 27, 2015.

Tuscawilla Park is in the city of Ocala. Ducks and waterfowl are plentiful around the small lake, and the peaceful setting draws people for leisurely activities. I painted this composite in a loose style after spending a morning at the park. The painting is one on exhibit at City Hall to honor National Parks and Recreation Month.

I am honored that this painting was selected by Munroe Regional Medical Center for an exhibit on the 3rd Floor Plumly Lobby MRMC from Sept 1 through Jan 2, 2014. On January 3, 2014 I was notified that the hospital volunteers had selected this painting to add to the permanent art collection of the hospital.

Canopy oaks dripping with spagnum moss create scenic paths and roads throughout central Florida.

This group of palms reaches high into the sky just up the road from the historic Evinston Post Office and General Store.

Buck took a photo of this tree while we rode a train through the Florida countryside near Tampa. I painted this fresh, transparent watercolor version during a Virginia Chen workshop at the Appleton.
